Assemblyman hopeful, Mr. Julio Marenco currently serves as an Associate Board Member of the New Jersey State Parole Board as well as the Commissioner of Revenue and Finance for the Township of North Bergen, New Jersey.

Mr. Marenco is currently running in the Democratic Primary for the New Jersey Assembly to represent the 33rd Legislative District which comprises parts of Guttenberg, North Bergen, Secaucus, Union City and West New York in Hudson County, New Jersey.

Early in life, Mr. Marenco learned the value of hard work and service as well as the importance of fighting for middle class families along the way.  Marenco is committed to advancing equity and economic opportunities for students of all backgrounds to afford and attend school to pursue advanced degrees.  Marenco is passionate about optimizing fiscal responsibility to assure that policies are based on principles for the betterment of the constituents of the communities that he hopes to serve.  And as a Navy Veteran, Marenco strives to advance pro-veteran agendas and policies to help ensure employment opportunities, affordable housing and access to high-quality, affordable health care to all veterans.

Mr. Marenco currently resides in North Bergen, New Jersey with his family.  Marenco is a firm believer that a life of service is a mindset, a full-time commitment to looking at the world and asking oneself how to make it better, and then doing those things day after day.
